PLANT SPOTTING

Last week, I went to National Park at Jerantut Pahang. This is my second trip there. First time I went there, I got nothing because the trip is too short but now, the second trip I feel very lucky, satisfied, happy, and also a sad memory. I think, this trip make me know how important we have to keep the environment, to save the jungle, to protect the animal and the main things is all those thing is not for themselves but for us.

So, in this posting I want to share a small topic about plant. You might not like to read it but it is my responsible to tell you the important of plant. We know now, every second and every minutes, the jungle in the world became smaller and smaller because of human activitiy. I do realize that development are very important. In Malaysia we were put a target to achieve a Wawasan 2020 but should we do everything to achieve this plan until we can remove all the jungle, all the plant?. We should’nt actually.       

I was in the middle of the jungle at National Park. Our tour guide so commited to tell me about all the plant. They are very expert about it. They show me many type of plant like Tongkat Ali, Kacip Fatimah, Tapak Hantu, Paku Merak and lots more. Then, they asked me who will keep and save all these if they died? I’m shocked with the question. It make me thinking that actually we’re the answer. That why I’m really hope we all togheter can make sure all these plant can be keep and save by human hand.

In this journey, I’m also can detect the names of the famous tree like Meranti, Gaharu, Keruing, Jati and Tualang. Our tour guide also explain to us about their function and what we can use from it.
